Montecastelli™ Selections
From the estate of Montecastelli™ was born Montecastelli™ Selections, a New York based importer and distributor that we run in order to bring the fruits of our collective labors to a broader audience.
Montecastelli™ Selections oils are hand crafted artisan products that are made in very small quantities. Larger production estates would be unable to lavish the care and attention that our producers can. Our collective size enables us to dedicate ourselves to quality and nothing else. This takes an enormous amount of work - amply repaid by the result.
Montecastelli™ Selections has an absolute commitment to quality. We believe, simply, that great food enhances quality of life. Because we work the olive groves ourselves and press and bottle the oil ourselves, because we take every care in producing the finest oil that we can, we also undertook to import and distribute the oil ourselves.

Delizia Estense Vinegars
The match to our philosophy of oil making in the world of vinegars, Sante Bertoni, is the silent king of handcrafted vinegars. He has classified his freestyle vinegars as AgroDolce di Montegibbio, in perfect balance of sweet and sour.
In exchange, that will allow him to induce acetic fermentation from the large library of acetic bacterias at his disposal (not unlike an alchemist) without always being required to meet the 6% of acetic acid required for Aceto Balsamico di Modena. Montegibbio, the small hilltop location where his grapes are biologically grown, lends its name to this artist series of unique vinegars.
Coffee
Coffee
Le Piantagione del Caffe
Single plantation coffe from Bolivia and Zaire. Robusta and Arabica are the main varietals, roasted in a small facility above Florence. According to some of the top Chefs of Italy (Gaetano Trovato, Ristorante Arnolfo!) this is the finest espresso in the world!
Surprisingly low acidity with a profile of full flavors that make it a pleasure to drink. Please inquire for availability. Coffee has to be consumed fresh and every style is not always avilable!
