Montecastelli Farm Estate

OUR STORY

From Medieval Village to Farm Estate

Montecastelli began in 1993 with the purchase of the historic Borgo Montecastelli, an ancient hamlet immersed in the agricultural landscape that still defines our identity today.

For 11 years I personally worked on the restoration of the historic buildings, carefully recovering their original rural character and bringing the village back to its authentic vocation.

In 1999 I rediscovered the agricultural roots of the territory and planted 1,000 new olive trees, one for every year of the village’s history, alongside the 300 centuries-old olive trees already present.
A project that combines architecture, agriculture and respect for the landscape.

The restoration process was completed in 2005 with the creation of Villa Montecastello, a charming hospitality residence and a reference point for travelers seeking an authentic experience connected to the land.

In 2006 we completed the production cycle with the installation of a state-of-the-art Alfa Laval olive mill, allowing us to process our olives directly on the estate while guaranteeing quality, traceability and the enhancement of local production.
