Minimum participants required to confirm retreat: 4 guests by July 31st 2026.
For guest who have booked and paid the deposit prior to the unlikely event of not reaching the minimal number of participants by July 31st 2026, shall be fully reimbursed for their deposits without cancellation fees on August 14th.

Terms, direct bookings:
A deposit of 50% of the retreat charge are necessary at the time of booking. No return of the deposit is possible with a cancellation received with less than 12 weeks remaining before scheduled check-in. For cancellations with more than 12 weeks prior to the scheduled check-in a refund will be issued for the paid amount less a €350 cancellation fee. At 6 weeks prior to scheduled arrival the balance of the retreat charge becomes due. The missed deadline for the second payment results in a 20% penalty over the entire booking charges to be paid no later than one week prior to scheduled check-in. Failure for making that second payment at check-in result in automatic cancellation without return of the initial deposit.
All payments represent automatically acceptance of the booking terms here above by both parties.
The Villa Montecastello does not accept any responsibility for cancellations outside the above terms and strongly suggest purchasing a travel insurance for covering unexpected occurrences preventing the customer or his guests reaching the Villa Montecastello at the above booked dates.
In case of any controversies both parties agree that such controversy or controversies shall be determined by arbitration in the court of Siena, Italy.
